Mick Cauthron
Mick started playing tennis competitively at age 15 in Tyler, Texas, where he grew up. In high school, he placed second in the state tournament and went on to play professionally in USTA tournaments. He received an associates degree in professional tennis management and has been coaching all ages and levels for the past 10 years in Austin, Texas. Sarah House
Sarah began playing tennis at the age of 6 and took private and group lessons every summer at the club her family belonged to. She did not take up tennis seriously until she was in college at the University of Toledo where she played two years as a walk-on. After college graduation, she joined USTA and began playing leagues and soon was ranked a 4.5. In 1999, she began teaching through the parks department in Ohio and at private clubs for 7 year and became certified through PTR – Professional Tennis Registry. After taking a break to care for aging parents,she moved to Illinois in 2009 and continued to play competitively and taught private lessons to adults and kids. After retiring with her husband to Paducah in 2020, she was introduced to the Paducah tennis community and has been teaching Tennis Apprentice during the spring and fall each year along with Cardio Tennis. Ted Kopren
After graduating from Winona State University playing the #1 position on his college tennis team, Ted went on to graduate from Vic Braden’s Tennis Academy. His career has taken him to Germany and across the US where he has enjoyed a long and prestigious career as a tennis professional coaching at a variety of tennis clubs. He recently relocated to the Paducah area with his wife and enjoys helping a new generation of tennis players achieve their potential and grow the game.
