Looking for a fun and structured way to introduce your child to tennis or help them take their game to the next level? PTA’s Junior Tennis Clinics provide a supportive environment where kids develop essential skills through age-appropriate instruction, movement drills, strategy sessions, and match play. Players are grouped by skill level and progress through different ball stages—Red, Orange, Green, and Yellow—to ensure the right level of challenge and growth.

✔ Fundamental stroke mechanics (forehand, backhand, volleys, serve)
✔ Footwork and movement for improved coordination and court coverage

🎾 Junior Clinic Breakdown by Ball Level

🔴 Red Ball (Ages 5-8) – 60 Minutes

🟠 Ball Type: Red Ball (larger, slower ball for better control)
🏟 Courts: Junior-sized courts

⏳ Warm-up (10 min): Agility, balance, and coordination drills
🎾 Stroke Development (15 min): Forehand, backhand, volleys
🏃‍♂️ Rally & Movement Drills (15 min)
🎯 Fun Tennis Games & Intro to Point Play (15 min)
🧘‍♂️ Cool Down & Review (5 min)

Players start with Red Ball Tennis (ages 5-7), using a smaller court and slower ball to build control and confidence. As they improve, they progress to Orange, Green, and Yellow Ball Tennis, transitioning to larger courts and faster balls. Coaches assess players every four weeks to ensure they’re in the right group and advancing at their own pace.
